Student Perceptions of Teaching (SPOT) surveys are administered at the end of each semester to provide our students the opportunity to give feedback on their courses. There is a standard set of questions all SPOT surveys contain, but faculty have the option to include additional questions. The survey is administered electronically through a third-party vendor, SmartEvals, and responses are all anonymous. Only courses with four or more students enrolled will receive the survey to help maintain this anonymity. Faculty receive a report of their results after final grades are posted for the semester.
