SPOT

SPOT Logo: SPOT stands for Student Perception of Teaching

Student Perceptions of Teaching (SPOT) surveys are conducted electronically at the end of each semester to gather student feedback on their courses. All surveys include a standard set of questions, and instructors may add optional questions tailored to their course.

To protect student anonymity, surveys are only distributed in courses with four or more enrolled students. Responses are collected through a secure third-party platform (Watermark) and are completely anonymous. Instructors receive a summary report of the feedback after final grades have been submitted.

This feedback helps instructors reflect on and improve their teaching practices.
