Meet Our Staff

Laurie Harris

Director

Laurie earned a Master of Science in Data Science from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Texas Christian University. Laurie served the Office of Admission at TCU for more than two years as Data Administrator prior to moving to Institutional Research in June 2022. Before joining TCU professionally in 2019, she worked in auditing and financial analytics, focusing on healthcare reimbursement and contracting.

Lindsey Millns

Associate Director

Lindsey earned a Master of Business Administration from The University of Denver and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing magna cum laude from St. Edward’s University.  Lindsey designs Tableau dashboards and compiles and analyzes data required for official government reporting, ranking publications, and college guides such as IPEDS, NCAA, and U.S. News.  Before joining TCU in 2012, she worked in pharmaceutical sales and employee benefits.

Jonathan Turner

Data Scientist

Jonathan earned a PhD in Political Science from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas Christian University.  Jonathan’s expertise in advanced quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and research project management supports data-driven decision-making by University partners.  Prior to joining TCU, Jonathan worked as an Institutional Research Analyst at Tarrant County College.

Brittany Schmitz

Survey Coordinator

Brittany earned a BGS from Texas Woman’s University with an emphasis in Business and English and is pursuing an M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership at Texas Christian University.  She previously served as a financial aid advisor at TCU, where she developed a passion for supporting students through advising and data-informed practices.  Prior to transitioning into higher education, she held a leadership role in the insurance industry and worked as an operational risk analyst in finance.  As a proud Fort Worth native, she values the opportunity to serve students in her home community.

Alyssa Jackson

Survey Coordinator

Alyssa earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a minor in Japanese summa cum laude from University of North Texas. She worked in the Financial Aid Office at TCU previously in several roles including as an advisor. This was where she developed her passion for higher education and an ability to use her prior experience from working in banking to help students. She brings her background and skills to Institutional Research with a commitment to supporting students.
